- The next round of progress reports will go home on Friday, May 15th.
- End of Grade Testing begins the week of May 18th. Please make sure that
your student is well rested and at school on time!

ACADEMICS
There are three basic expectations
that the 8th grade teachers hold for students:
- Respect yourself and others around you
- Come to class prepared and ready to achieve
- Take responsibility for your actions
Brogden's policy for grading is as
follows:
A = 93-100 Excellent
B = 85-92 Above Average
C = 77-84 Average
D = 70-76 Passing
F = 0-69 No Credit

- Box Tops for Education -
Clip Box Top off General Mills' products and have your student turn them
in to his or her homeroom teacher.
- Empty Ink Cartridges - Brogden
earns money for every used ink or toner cartridge we collect. Instead of
throwing away those empty cartridges, have your student turn them in to
his or her homeroom teacher!
- Harris Teeter VIC Card - To
link your VIC card to BMS, go to
www.harristeeter.com
and click on "Together in Education" in the upper
right hand corner. From there, choose "Link to Your School" from the menu
and fill in the required information. Doing this will not interfere with
your savings or with sweepstakes entries!
- Food Lion MVP Card - To link
your MVP card to Brogden, simply go to
www.foodlion.com
and click on "Lion Shop and Share." From their,
follow the directions to register or re-link your MVP card. Food Lion will
give to BMS without taking away from your savings and promotions!
- Kroger Plus Card - Have your
student bring home a bar code for Brogden Middle School. Next time you
shop at Kroger have them scan this bar code along with your Plus Card. You
only need to do this once and your card will be linked to BMS. This does
not affect any savings or promotional events! |
